Amish life in crisis
Who are the Amish? This
is a group of people, concentrated in the Philadelphia area, noted for its
austerity and its attachment to traditions. They live detached from the
society of today. They also call the "Plain People"
They are known for their ancient culture, and their agricultural lands are
among the most productive. The Amish are very devout in their faith; in fact
it’s a very religious people who interpreted their own bible. They don’t have
cars or the news technology. In fact, they still use horses for work and
travel. They dress in simple and live simply. One could believe they do not
want to load the misfortunes of our societies.

The Amish live "in this world but not of this world." they
prohibit the possession of a car, they prohibit the use of public power, they
use a little the phone, they refuse any secondary education. Compared to our
standards, the Amish world seems limited. Thought and culture Amish based on
submission to a religious way of life, peasant and family. Their fate seems writing
and their life is probably missed of spontaneity and discovery.
